History of Lancet Hospital

Lancet Ethiopia came into action in its first project in November 2019 as LANCET SPECIALIZED MEDICAL AND SURGICAL CENTER. Immediately Lancet has already developed a huge trust worthy client market becoming the dominant private health institution but also a trusted referral center for all difficult and complicated cases from all known private and government hospitals in Addis Ababa, other health facilities in other regions of Ethiopia and multiple countries nearby including Somalia, Somaliland, Eritrea and the like.

Lancet has grown exponentially in the last 16 months and has upgraded to a GENERAL Hospital in just one year. Lancet Ethiopia has brought high end services which have attracted many government and non government organizations to sign agreement for their staff medical services including CBE, National Bank, Awash bank, Ethiotelecom, multiple local and international insurances including Cigna, Hibret bank and many others through special recommendations.
Our main marketing ambassadors are our patients and patient attendants who have seen the much organized and exceptional super specialized services provided for them and their loved ones.

So far, Lancet has managed and treated more than 20,500 patients as outpatients in more than 35 sub specialties and provided more than 9500 inpatient treatments for cases requiring experienced sub specialists involvement; more than 2000 high end and complicated major surgeries and more than 4000 minor and interventional procedures have been performed; Outpatient & Inpatient chemotherapies and cancer treatments for thousands of patients were provided and, ICU and Dialysis services at the best available quality are available at Lancet.
